[Via Unscene Media]:
Yesterday I had a chance to meet up with Manny Garcia to get started on shooting photos for his newest EP called “Where I Started From”. Due to some time constraints, we decided to get the first part of the photoshoot done at the studio and save the final key shots for another time (with a bit better weather and crucial scenery). So after I was through with my video sessions for the day, the green screen came down, the backdrop went up and we started snapping.
I was definitely keen on mixing up natural and studio light for his EP – the album is very much a progression of maturity and I wanted the photos to reflect that straight out of the camera and through the post-processing. I had actually contemplated getting rid of my tilt-shift lens during the last month or so, but after working with it for a couple shots I felt right back in love, haha. If you can’t spot which of the teaser photos I used the TS-45 for, click HERE to check it out in high-resolution.
Anyway, I managed to take a few video clips in the process to give you guys a little more of a preview while I work through more of these. Hope you guys like them – they were a blast to take and run through the good ‘ol Photoshop. Leave some love!
